Englert Inc is Hiring a Remote Benefits Analyst - Hybrid

Position Summary:

This position is a remote role for eligible candidates that live in New Jersey, New York, Connecticut and Pennsylvania.

This position is responsible for the administration of best practices for benefits and wellness programs supporting the objective of making ELM Home Building Solutions a Destination Place to Work. The incumbent should be well versed in the areas including but not limited to: STD, LTD, FMLA, HIPAA and cafeteria plans, health and wellness programs, life and disability insurances, COBRA, leave plans, retirement plans and 401(k). This position is also responsible for assisting with creating benefits communications, counseling employees on benefits matters and supporting the compliance of these plans.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Research all employee matters related to the ELM medical, dental, vision, COBRA, leave of absence and 401(k) plans.
  • Work with a vendor to administer the LOA/STD/LTD in accordance with the ELM plan.
  • Drive the effective management of LOA/STD/LTD program by working with the HRIS, HR Generalists and managers.
  • Assist with implementing new processes associated with the administration of employee benefits.
  • Communicate with employees who have issues related to benefit eligibility and coverage.
  • Monitor and audit file feeds to ensure data integrity both internally and externally to vendors.
  • Assist with open enrollment process as well as educating options to employees.
  • Research and approve qualified life events within benefits system.
  • Support the annual 1095/1094 process.
  • Approve Cobra Notices within benefits system so ensure Notices are sent timely.
  • Administer ongoing audits of the benefits system to ensure data integrity.
  • Liaise Worker's Compensation claims by working with Safety department and the various carriers who handle our claims nationally.
  • Support Wellness events when needed.
  • Assist with ad hoc projects, reports, and other tasks as needed by management.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of benefits administration experience required.
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Solid understanding of benefit plan principles, HealthCare and other federal/state regulations related to benefits.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel in particular
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a timely manner.

Competencies:

Spanish speaking is a plus, collaboration, persistence, analytical skills, highly organized.
