Title: Graphic Designer

Group: Communications Team: Production

General Classification: Ministry Assistant (Non-Exempt) Work Location: Church Support Center

Immediate Supervisor: Production Services Manager

1. Conduct assigned ministry with “Christ-Like Servant Spirit,” guided by TBMB mission, priorities, strategies, and goals.
2. Provide support and assistance to assigned group and other groups within the organization, while building and maintaining positive working relationships.
3. Contribute to all phases of responsibilities to the Mission and Objectives of the organization.
4. Exercise discipline to complete tasks and work alone with general supervision.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1. Consult with TBMB staff and Sr. Graphic Designer on incoming design jobs and special projects regarding design needs, expectations, and concerns.
2. Use project management tools to track the progress of your work.
3. Utilize effective time management skills, the ability to stay on task, meet deadlines, and work ahead as much as possible.
4. Stay up to date on current design trends and techniques.
5. Take initiative to brainstorm and actively participate in group creative meetings.
6. Perform all other duties as needed or assigned.

Physical Requirements for Individual in Position:

1. Continuously sits at desk utilizing computer and phone. Occasionally stands and walks.
2. Frequently bends/stoops, pushes/pulls, identify, and distinguish colors.
3. Occasionally squats, walks extended distances, reaches above shoulder, kneels, balances, lifts, and carries up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

Credentials and experience:

1. Education: Four-year Graphic Design degree
2. Experience: One to three years Graphic Design experience

Knowledge and Skills:

1. Design knowledge of the basic adobe creative suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
2. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
3. Strong organization and time management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
4. Creative thinking, problem solving, and ability to follow instructions.
5. Photography, web design and/or video production
