General Description:
The ideal candidate will be a creative, self-motivated individual with a keen visual sense and passion for good design. The graphic designer will work with multi-disciplinary teams, which will involve observing, listening, researching and design. We are looking for a graphic design team member with creative flair and a strong ability to translate requirements into design ideas, communicate those ideas clearly and effectively, verbally and visually, internally as well as externally with attention to detail. Must have the ability to work well under pressure and with tight deadlines. After work hours may be required on occasion. If you are a talented graphic designer, can communicate well and work methodically as part of a team, we’d like to meet you.
Essential Job Functions:
- Conceptualize visuals based on requirements
- Review Creative Request Forms and determine requirements
- Generate new and original ideas within the parameters of stated objectives
- Create high-quality designs for multiple pieces per project
- Demonstrate the ability to lead a project from conception to delivery
- Confer with supervisor and clients in developing materials for projects
- Prepare rough drafts, templates, and design concepts and present ideas
- Follow brand guidelines for design and development of all creative elements
- Amend designs after feedback
- Work well with Art Director, Project Manager and content leader to produce final design
- Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on brand
- Maintain excellent internal and external customer relations
- Demonstrate excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail
- Have excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Mac OS and production skills
- Complete all other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in art, graphic design, or related field preferred
- Three to five (3-5) years of experience as a graphic designer working in a creative atmosphere
- Must be able to produce a recent portfolio.
