ProSource is looking for a qualified IT professional to install, analyze and maintain computer systems and networks. This position requires you to be well-versed in computer operating systems, networking configurations, server administration, desktop/server software and hardware. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills. This is not an entry level position.
Core Job Responsibilities:
Provide end users with consistent quality of customer service and support for computer/server hardware, software, telephones, and various mobile platforms (iOS & Android)
Provide first and second level support on various infrastructure related issues and follow-up with end users.
Prioritize customer issues by severity and status/work them to meet service levels.
Mentor and act as an escalation point for junior staff.
Lead and/or assist with projects as instructed.
Install, configure and maintain computers, networks, network cabling, printers and other related equipment and systems within various business environments.
Provide direction for end users of IT systems using established standards and best practices in accordance with company policies and procedures
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
Microsoft/Cisco/CompTIA Certification (CCNA, Net , Sec , Microsoft 365)
Troubleshoot various client issues via remote support technologies and in person
Configure and troubleshoot a wide array of applications and software
Knowledgeable with networking and subnetting fundamentals.
Knowledgeable with Active Directory and Group Policy administration
Configure and troubleshoot wireless access points and wireless client connections
Configure and troubleshoot Windows 10 , Server 2016, 2019 and newer.
Virtualization experience a plus (VMware, Hyper-V, Citrix)
SonicWall/Fortinet experience a plus
Office 365/Azure experience a plus
Connectwise Manage experience a plus
Managed Service Provider experience a plus
Additional Requirements
Minimum of two years desktop, network or IT industry support experience.
Ability to manage, track, and document work in support tickets or projects.
Attention to detail in documentation and all activities related to work completed.
Self-discipline, great attitude, time management and exceptional customer service
Work within the client’s culture
On-call rotations with other Engineers for emergent/after-hours client support
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
