In support of Program Manager Combat Support Systems, we are seeking a Program Analyst III with experience in supporting DOD/Marine Corps acquisition programs and life cycle management events; familiarization with acquisition policy/principles, and interfacing with government principals. The specific requirements and tasks may include, but are not limited to the following: - Draft, modify, review, and/or recommend changes to program management and acquisition documentation in support of the acquisition life cycle in accordance with the DoD 5000 series, Marine -Corps Systems Command Acquisition Guidebook, and MCSC documentation templates (Acquisition Plans, Single Acquisition Management Plans (SAMPs), Acquisition Program Baselines (APBs), and Program Management Reviews (PMRs)).
- Review of technical information for accuracy, adequacy, and completeness.
- Recommend changes to include improvements to existing documentation related to product development and/or procedures.
- Prepare agendas and executive summaries, conduct presentation of materials and action item tracking as well as coordination, scheduling, and conduct of meetings, and draft meeting minutes.
- Provide updates into the Government’s risk management tool system, update risk registry, conduct risk reporting, and status reporting in support of designed program management and risk management events.
- Review and analyze current configuration management plans for programmatic and logistics elements to assist in the drafting of Configuration Management Plan Addendums. Education/Experience: - Bachelor’s degree preferred
- High School Diploma required
- Minimum of six (6) years of experience relevant to the task responsibilities listed above
- Tradeoff for Bachelor’s degree is 4 additional years of experience
- DAWIA or professional accreditation preferred in Program Management
- Position may require the ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance. Specific/Preferred Requirements: - The applicant must have working knowledge of DOD 5000 series polices/guidebooks, MCSC Acquisition Guidebook, and MCSC documentation templates to include Acquisition Plans, Single Acquisition Management Plans (SAMPs), Acquisition Program Baselines (APBs), and PMRs.
- Detail-oriented, strong organizational management and written/verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently or on a team in a dynamic environment and with multiple discipline projects.
- Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Access and Teams).
- Proficient with the development of SharePoint and IMSs.
