Essential Duties

* Preform HDPE fusion welding techniques to join HDPE pipes and fittings.

* Responsible for set up and maintaining fusion welding equipment to include butt fusion machines, socket fusion tools, electrofusion machines and all items associated with the machines.

* Conduct visual inspections of fusion joints to identify any defects or irregularities and ensure that welding process meet industry standards and quality requirements.

* Follow all safety protocols and guidelines during operation, including the use of PPE.

* Document fusion processes, including parameters, joint locations, and any other items that are required for project records.

* Must be able to effectively communicate with management and other employees.

Skills & Qualifications

* Must have high school diploma or GED

* Must have a minimum 2 years verifiable work experience as a Polyfusion Tech

* Employee must be capable of performing skilled labor for up to 12 hours a day.

* Must be dependable and operate with a high-level of integrity.

* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and demanding environment.

Physical Requirements / Working Environment

* This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work vary (Monday - Sunday with some overnight work) and overtime is frequently required.

* Working environment is often times in harsh elements (hot / humid and/or cold temperatures, rain, etc.) Industrial environments often have exposure to hazardous chemicals, moving heavy equipment, and other safety-sensitive hazards / risks. Must always be alert and able to safely perform the essential duties of the job without risking harm to oneself or others.

* While performing the duties of this job, you will:
