GENERAL FUNCTION

To assist in the development of swimmers participating with the New Canaan Y Aquianas Synchronized Swimming Team and synchro instructional classes.

KNOW-HOW

Synchronized Swimming participation, either current or previous. Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with staff and members.

PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES

• Contribute to the implementation of workout and Training plans
• Assist other coaches with practice, specifically from the water.
• Attend specified competitions, training and special events
• Attend all specified staff meetings
• Have the ability to teach creatively, enthusiastically, and have the initiative to learn new and innovative techniques.
• Must be able to foster teamwork and core Y values
• Must represent the New Canaan Y Aquianas and The New Canaan YMCA, in a professional and positive manner at all times.
• Be willing to work with other program staff and YMCA members.
• Perform other duties as designated by the supervisor.
