Currently we are recruiting for a Production Manager. This position will provide the successful candidates with the chance to apply skills and work as a team within a clean and safe environment.

POSITION SUMMARY

Lead and support production operations. Works to achieve the goals and objectives of the organization by developing programs and policies. Actively promotes a positive company image and strives to ensure team member morale is maintained at the highest level.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Provides training, by example, in leadership to Mayco standards.

· Supports plant personnel in their drive to assume more responsibility and capability.

· To be actively involved in the development of training programs that support the plant activities and goals.

· Aids in the quick identification of plant problems and provide solutions.

· Works directly with the teams in plant on work schedules and inventory accuracy in order to optimize plant loading.

· Plans and allocates time for the effective operation of all shifts.

· Instills the attitudes of teamwork, pride, quality and concern in all shift operations.

· Maintains quality and productivity.

· Monitors cycle times and processes.

· Resolves quality issues with quality personnel.

· Initiates action to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformities relating to product, process and quality system.

· Identifies and records any problems relating to the product, process and quality system.

· Initiates, recommends or provides solutions through designated channels.

· Controls further processing, delivery or installation of nonconforming product until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected.

· Verifies the implementation of solutions.

· IATF 16949 awareness training.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

· Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business Administration preferred but not required.

· Development or Equivalent Experience.

· Coaches, leads and develops the culture through continuous improvement initiatives.

This position requires that the employee be able to move and transport plastic parts that generally do not exceed 10 pounds, without requiring assistance such as a dolly, forklift, or another team member. This position also includes frequent and prolonged periods of standing/walking, pushing /pulling or moving/lifting supplies. This position experiences frequent/occasional reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching, repetitive motion and gripping. Must comply with all safety requirements including use of the personal protection equipment required for this position.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
