We have a great opportunity for the right candidate to join our Management Team at Nick and Toni's! Opened in 1988, our flagship restaurant in East Hampton remains a charming and dependable table for a delicious and seasonally inspired meal in a community ripe with edible bounty. While the Tuscan farmhouse setting, wood-burning oven, extensive drink program, and outsider art all add to the ambiance, the energy of the dining rooms seem to take on a life of their own thanks to the vivacious diners who fill our seats night after night.

Floor Manager shall work directly with the Management Team to ensure the smooth operation of Nick and Toni's. Their responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to the following:

Opening of the restaurant

• Overseeing customer service and quality control of all food and beverage served
• Management of standards of service
• Reconciliation and distribution of cash drawers
• Balancing daily deposits
• Updating our POS system as needed
• Conducting one on one meeting with staff daily
• Overseeing all opening procedures are complete
• Participate in coaching and training of staff
• Overseeing service and aiding in areas as needed

Closing of the restaurant

• Reconciliation of cash drawers
• Reconciliation of night deposit
• Depositing Cash Deposit at the Bank Daily
• Organize and account for Comps/Voids
• Record operational information for daily communications
• Overseeing all FOH closing procedures are complete
• Maintaining and monitoring POS items are correct and current on our online and in house ordering system
• Securing and locking up the restaurant

Qualifications

• Ability to coach/teach/train/motivate
• Assistant manager experience
• Food service management
• POS experience
• Supervising experience
• Hospitality management- Fine Dining Experience Encouraged!
• Customer service
• Inventory control

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week
