Job Title: Human Resources Coordinator
Requirements: Human Resources related degree, Associates minimum, B.A. preferred. Minimum of 2 years HR related work experience. Prior work experience in the areas of staff hiring, on-boarding, training, corrective actions, policy development and management, and benefits coordination would be beneficial. Certification from SHRM is preferred.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Great Lakes Potato Chip Company LLC is seeking a highly motivated and organized candidate for Human Resource duties. This employee will work closely with the COO and Controller. Additional support may be requested from others on our team, including the and Office Manager. This person will be responsible for applying strong HR skills for our 60 employees. Other required reporting and a variety of clerical duties may be requested. This candidate must enjoy working within a small, entrepreneurial environment that is mission-driven, results-driven and community oriented. The ideal individual will have the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, with strong analytical and organizational skills, and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities. This employee will have the ability to work independently on projects, from conception to completion, and must be able to work under pressure at times to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion.
· Web based communications include miscellaneous portal entries.
· Performs own clerical duties, such as maintaining paper and electronic files, and opening and sorting mail.
· Filing and archiving records.
· Composing and preparing correspondence that are sometimes confidential.

Pay: $24.00 - $32.00 per hour
