Gallagher Asphalt is Hiring a Customer Service Representative Near Joliet, IL
This person is responsible for on-site and remote scale duties at our Asphalt Plants in Joliet, Bourbonnais, and Thornton. This role will primarily be accountable for interacting with customers on a daily basis. This includes, but is not limited to, providing and processing information in response to Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) orders, trucking needs, as well as the full array of services Gallagher offers. This role will support retail sales in communication with our regular customers as well as relaying customers’ needs and opportunities to retail sales. This position will also support clerical and operational duties within the command center. The Customer Service Representative collaborates daily with Construction leadership, Project Superintendents, Field Personnel, Project Managers, Plant Foreman, and the Equipment Manager.Regular attendance and physical presence at work is an essential function of this position. This job may require additional duties not listed, and the employee may be asked to perform those duties to meet business needs. Occasional night and weekend work may be required. This is a seasonal role, with 40 guaranteed weeks, with the season typically occurring between March and December.
