Eye Consultants of Pennsylvania is Hiring a Site Manager Near Lebanon, PA

Eye Consultants of Pennsylvania, the leading eye care practice in the area has an opening for a Site Manager at our Lebanon office. The Manager performs many leadership, organizational and decision-making tasks to maintain and develop as an individual and the site location team.

The Site Manager will oversee the Ophthalmic Technician/Medical Assistant and Medical Receptionists. This role may require the supervisor to fill in when needed on the floor. An Ophthalmology technician background is ideal however, we will be willing to train the right candidate in this area.

Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

  • Implement effective workplace procedures
  • Ensure policies and best practices are conducted
  • Hire, train and monitor employees
  • Organize patient records using electronic health records
  • Supervise daily practice operations such as billing, debt collections, security and occupational health and safety
  • Monitor the inventory for medications and medical equipment and organize for resupply
  • Interact with patients and promptly address their concerns utilizing service recovery techniques as applicable
  • Coordinate regular staff meetings and performance reviews
  • Collaborate with Physicians to develop office strategies and patient services

The ideal candidate will have the following qualities:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively communicate with Physicians, other medical professionals, office personnel employees and patients
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Computer literacy and knowledge of relevant health care and administrative software
  • Good leadership, motivation, training and goal-setting skills
  • Organization and time management skills
  • Understanding of health and safety standards in the medical industry

Eye Consultants of Pennsylvania is looking for a candidate that has at least 1 year or more experience as Office Manager, Ophthalmology Technician or another administrative role within the health care sector. Other candidates may have previous experience as a Practice Manager or another medical office leadership role.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $41,544.46 - $50,032.05 per year
