Opening this fall, we will feature globally inspired, small, shareable plates that pair perfectly with our carefully curated wine and whiskey selection. We are in search for people that have a true passion for hospitality and want to help build a new staple for dining out in Addison.
 
 District in Addison is immediately hiring for a Culinary Team Member position. The ideal 

candidates will gain experience in culinary operations and execution, be able to work in a team 

environment, develop great communication skills, and have opportunities for growth and 

advancement!
Responsibilities: 

• Load, run and unload dish machine.
• Keep the dish machine clean and report any functional or mechanical problems immediately.
• Monitor dish machine water temperature to ensure sanitary wash cycle.
• Wash and store all tableware and kitchenware.
• Prepare batch food for line cooks as needed
• Keep dish room clean and organized.
• Maintain adequate levels of clean tableware for dining room and kitchen.
• Bag and haul dish room trash to dumpster at designed times.
• Handle tableware carefully to prevent breakage and loss.
• Maintain adequate levels of dish detergents and cleaning supplies.
• Clean food preparation and production areas as required.
• Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor.

Qualifications: 

• No previous restaurant experience required.
• Be able lift, reach, bend and stoop.
• Be able to stand and walk for up to 5 hours.
• Be able to safely lift bags, cases and stacks weighing up to 60 pounds.
