- The Benefits Consultant has a thorough understanding of employee benefits, wellness, consumer-driven healthcare and disease management principles, along with methods of selling products such as health, dental, vision, life, disability and work site benefits. This role is responsible for active prospecting, generating new business, selling additional coverages, understanding benefit compliance requirements and retaining existing clients through exceptional service levels.
- To excel in this role, you must be able to develop, foster, and manage overall client relationships, and provide a consultative approach that is specific to the clients' needs throughout the client life cycle. In addition, you must possess excellent self-driven skills that allow you to think outside the box, while engaging decision makers in our established sales process.
