Kidzone is seeking a highly motivated and energetic person to welcome to the team. We are seeking an individual who can work some hours during the week between 7:45am-3pm and the occasional Friday or Saturday night 4:45-9:15pm. Position begins May 22nd and continues until September 2nd.

Kidzone services children 4months-12 years. Staff is required to engage children in crafts, games, activities, and may be asked to feed lunch or dinner. Building and maintaining relationships with the children and parents is a must as well as the ability to provide friendly and polite service.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

· Engages children in interactive activities including organized arts and crafts, singing, and games while maintaining a safe environment

· Demonstrate a fun, positive and outgoing attitude while acting as a role model

· Demonstrates positive attitude and actions through a display of courtesy, service, cooperation, hospitality, sensitivity, and professionalism to internal and external customers

· Maintains cleanliness and order of daycare in order to ensure safety

· Use technology to check members in and out, send pictures to parents, and answer e-mails.

· Jonas, Microsoft office, Photoshop, Excel and Outlook knowledge a plus

Position Requirements

· Previous child care experience preferred

· First Aid Required within the first 60 days of hire

· Infant/Child and Adult CPR/AED required within the first 60 days of hire

· Ability to frequently stand; walk; use hands, objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; ability to climb ladders

· Must complete background check and drug test

· Must be 16 years of age.

· Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

· Must be available to work flexible shifts which may include emergencies, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
