County of Washington is Hiring a Deputy Director 911 Near Washington, PA

DEPUTY DIRECTOR – 911

The Washington County Department of Public Safety currently has an opening

for the FT Deputy Director of 911. This position plans, coordinates and oversees

all aspects of the County’s 911 Telecommunications Center, makes decisions and

provides direction in day-to-day operations and in times of emergency for a

Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP); also serves as County 911 Coordinator.

This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree or specialized courses/training

equivalent to satisfactory completion of two (2) years of college in a management

related field. Requires ten (10) years of experience in Emergency Management,

Public Safety communications, Emergency Services administration, or related field.

Must have a working knowledge and understanding of, and appropriate certifications

in Emergency Management and Public Safety communications. Must be

knowledgeable of the laws, rules, ordinances and agencies related to Emergency

Management and Public Safety communications. Computer skills and technical

knowledge is necessary.

Salary negotiable based on qualifications and experience
