- Locate vendors of materials, equipment, or supplies then determine product availability and terms of sale.
- Prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders for supplies and equipment.
- Maintain records of items bought, costs, deliveries, product performances, and inventories.
- Maintains record of supplier evaluations and performance.
- Assist with inventory control.
- Maintain a healthy and safe working environment.
- Monday thru Thursday 8:00am - 5:00pm and Friday 8:00am - 2:30pm
- Prior purchasing and inventory control experience in a distribution and/or manufacturing environment.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize, plan, organize, and control work flow in a team environment.
- Must be able to work under time pressures, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Good computer and basic math skills, must be proficient in Microsoft Excel.
