Buckeye Home Health Care- Cincinnati is Hiring a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) Near Kenwood, OH

Buckeye Home Health Care continues to grow in the Cincinnati area! We are looking for a PTA that will be primarily based in a large assisted/independent community with some potential for community visits. The ideal candidate can help improve the well-being of our patients and their families and has the heart and skills to work with home-bound patients. Buckeye Home Health Care strives for excellence and has one of the lowest hospitalization rates in the area and a 5 STAR Quality of Care Rating from The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). The person we are looking for enjoys appreciation for their hard work, makes a difference providing quality care and wants to be part of a forward-thinking, patient care driven team.

Qualifications:

  • Provide care wherever the patient calls home.
  • Oversee the PT plan of care as directed by the patient's physician and PT.
  • Work with other disciplines to give the best care needed for each patient.
  • Ability to complete documentation within an EMR system
  • Help decrease the need for re-hospitalization by being actively involved in the patient's plan of care to assess any changes that may be needed.
  • When appropriate teach and counsel family members about care and processes for disease/injuries.
  • Attend meetings, CEUs, sometimes in the Dayton office/area

Requirements:

  • Computer skills; must be able to work within EMR system.
  • Must have current PTA Ohio license in good standing.
  • Reliable auto and current auto insurance.
  • Current CPR.
  • Can work well independently and possess strong time management skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $58,000.00 per hour
