Atlas Medical is currently seeking a dependable, and detail-oriented Medical Assistant . Aegis specializes in providing care for hospice and home health patients. This is a full-time position working Monday-Friday from 8:00am-5pm in our Wasilla office.
The Medical Assistant is an important part of the Aegis Health Care team. The Medical Assistant works with patient care in a clinical setting. You will support doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care, management, organization and communication. The target is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality and in a timely manner.

Job Responsibilities:
- Rooming patients, check vitals, and document basic medical history
- Organize and schedule appointments
- Update and file medical records and insurance reports
- Arrange imaging orders and laboratory services
- Assist during medical examinations and procedures
- Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
- Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments
- Comply with privacy/confidentiality policies and regulations
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology
- Adaptive problem-solving skills
- Keen attention to detail
- Service oriented mindset
- Minimum of 2 years related experience preferred
- Must be a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
- Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable automobile
- Proof of current automobile insurance
- Criminal background check clearance/fingerprint clearance
- Negative TB test
- Must be at least (18) years of age
- Works indoors at Agency and occasional travel for office duties.
