As Corporate Financial Controller at Century you are responsible for all accounting, finance, and tax matters for Century's North America operations including six separate subsidiaries. Our Financial Controller will also manage personnel for accounting department headquartered in our Richmond office.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES:Manage the day-to-day operations and accounting staffMonitor revenues. direct costs, receivables, payables and SGA expensesResearch and resolve complex accounting issues that occurFinancial reporting in accordance with US GAAPCoordinate auditing processes and manage relationship with external auditorsEnsure accuracy of financial informationKeep Company compliant in tax and financial regulatory mattersReport Company results to the Chief Financial OfficerRequirements:
EDUCATONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance requiredCPA or other related accounting designation is required10 years of experience working in finance/accounting requiredMinimum of 5 years experience as Controller or Corporate Financial Management experienceMinimum two (2) years of Supervisory/Management experience preferably as a Controller, Director of Accounting or Corporate Finance professionalMaster's degree is preferredStrong understanding of accounting procedures and GAAPExperience with financial reporting requirementsSuperior Excel skills are essential.Strong numerical proficiency, organization, good problem-solving skills.Excellent use of logic and a big-picture method abilities when approaching tasks.Strong organizational skills to effectively deal with multiple tasks are important.
