As Logistics and Supply Chain Specialist at Century you are responsible for impacting the successful delivery of, both intact and transload/over the road, as well as domestic FTL/LTL and Mexico/Canada cross-border operations. The Specialist actively executes the operational process with minimal supervision, works to identify and address any operational or customer issues to be overcome, and is a primary person responsible for the end-to-end deliverable of this service. 

Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm. with office located in Innsbrook, Glen Allen, Virginia. 

This position requires work from the office one day per week so candidate must reside in the Richmond area. We do offer the following benefits:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES: 

• Coordinating support needs for assigned customers. 
• Ability to identify and resolve basic operational problems. 
• Ability to identify and resolve problems with minimal supervision. 
• Manage correspondence with customer and vendors to resolve operational issue.
• Customer facing requirements including attending customer/vendor meetings when necessary.

Requirements

• Supply Chain or Logistics Experience mandatory, or degree in the Logistics Field.
• Bachelors Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or relative field
• Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• B2B Customer Service Experience
• Ability to effectively communicate effectively during face to face meetings with customers
• Intermediate Excel skills and ability to learn and master various proprietary software programs
• Highly organized individual with excellent time management skills
• Critical thinking skills and ability to effectively multi-task.
