ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. •Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and other test documentation to determine quality standards. •Record test data on paper and/or electronically, applying statistical quality control procedures. •Prepare graphs or charts or data or enters data into computer for analysis. •Test & troubleshoot low to medium complexity products to the component level, to specifications provided, with efficiency and quality. Perform work to appropriate efficiency and utilization standards. •Set up and use of commercial test equipment. Troubleshooting and maintenance of test heads. •Must be a positive and dependable member of the manufacturing group. Participate in work group/team activities. •Maintain a clean and safe work area and environment. •Practice and participate in Continuous Improvement and Lean activities, and be adaptive & supportive of change. •Provide input to problem solving process and possess good communication skills. •Other tasks as assigned. •The work performed in this job can only be done on site; therefore attendance is an essential function of the job. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Associate Degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school, and/or 6-12 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education & experience. Familiarity with digital circuitry required. LANGUAGE SKILLS The ability to read, speak, & understand English to enable clear communication & comprehension of documentation. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Basic math skills required to add, subtract, multiply & divide. Basic understanding of & ability to read performance graphs. REASONING ABILITY Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situation where limited standardization exists; to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form. OTHER REQUIREMENTS •Able to perform basic data entry transactions. •Must achieve a passing score on IPC Component Identification course. •Must achieve a passing score on IPC Workmanship Standards course.
