Summary:

Momentum is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Modern Work Enterprise Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working on and designing complex technical systems and solutions in the collaboration and unified communications space, with deep experience with the Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Azure platforms, preferred.

This position may require a US security clearance in the future.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the subject matter expert in Modern Work technologies, particularly with Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Azure solutions.
• Create complex designs, integrations, and services that align with Momentum’s business and product strategies.
• Conduct comprehensive feature and integration testing of all existing and new products to ensure seamless functionality and integration across product sets.
• Lead the technical selection process of new vendors though the proof-of-concept testing to ensure vendors meet Momentum’s requirements as it pertains to product offerings.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to incorporate into Momentum’s offerings.
• Lead the technical aspects of new product development, design, testing, and deployment.
• Document architectural designs through technical white papers and diagrams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, Software Development, Network, Voice, and Systems Engineers, to ensure successful design, deployment, and implementation of technical architecture.
• Assist as the technical lead with Sales and Sales Engineering discussions both internally and externally as required.
• Act as the technical lead for operational designs and deployments, providing guidance on deviations from standard designs.
• Ensure comprehensive documentation of product solutions and training of relevant teams.
• Lead internal training programs for engineering, support, and service delivery teams, enhancing their capabilities in Microsoft Teams.
• Provide high-level escalation support for issues beyond standard procedures.
• Present complex technical information to executive-level leadership with clarity and confidence.
• Participate in Microsoft TAP program to stay ahead of Microsoft features and functionality before they are GA to understand how the impact Momentum’s product offering.

Qualifications:

• Experience working with VoIP and TDM systems such as SBCs, PBXs, ATAs, etc.
• Experience with migrating users from one phone system to another.
• Deep understanding of call flows and feature configurations.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with complex direct routing configurations supporting both commercial, GCC, and GCC High customers.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong leadership skills and experience in leading complex projects involving cross-functional teams.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Teams features, integration, and deployment strategies.
• Excellent training and mentorship abilities, with experience in developing internal training programs.
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement complex technical solutions.
• Adept at learning and adapting to new technologies.
• Experience in documenting designs and training technical teams.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• 7-10 years of experience working with voice and unified collaboration systems, design, deployments, and solutions.
• BA/BS degree in a technical degree track, like computer science, information systems, or equivalent experience
• Microsoft Certifications or MVP Badge
• Experience with Zoom, Cisco, Avaya, Mitel, and/or other product vendors.
