| Teacher II Job Summary Under the administrative supervision of the School Leader and/or Assistant School Leader and the day-to-day direction of the assigned Lead Teacher, assist the Lead Teacher in planning and providing a stimulating and comprehensive learning environment for infants, toddlers, or preschool children; assume lead teacher responsibilities in absence of the Lead Teacher; perform activities meeting Federal Early Head Start and Head Start Performance Standards and any regulatory standard regarding classroom activity. Essential Physical & Mental Requirements This is a classroom position that requires active supervision, requiring focused attention to look, listen, and engage with young children. Work requires frequent bending, stooping, lifting, squatting, kneeling, crawling, stretching, pushing, and pulling throughout the day. Must have the ability to lift and/or carry objects and children weighing up to fifty (50) pounds and quickly respond to children's needs. Regular and reliable attendance is required. | ||
