Job Responsibilities:

Include, but not limited to the following………

1. Managing and staying current with applicable laws and mandates
2. Designs and administers HR policies and procedures
3. Prepares internal employee communications regarding compensation, benefits and company policies
4. Collects and maintains HR data related to compensation, benefits, training, recruitment and assists with making recommendations for improvements and management reporting
5. Workers Compensation/Workers Compensation Audits
6. Terminations
7. Employee Relations
8. Determining Disciplinary Actions & Maintaining Disciplinary Records
9. Impartial Investigation & Proper Reporting & Filing of Harassment Allegations
10. Creation and Maintenance of Job Descriptions/Salary Grade Maintenance
11. 401K census/enrollments/audits (Form 5500)
12. Annual Benefit Review/Reconciliation/Renewal
13. Consistently maintaining Proper Personnel Files
14. Interfacing and a liaison between (3) sister companies
15. Assist with day-to-day HR Operations

Education/Experience:

1. College degree in a related field or applicable experience.
2. Professional Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR) certification preferred
3. 2-5 years working as a HR professional is recommended
4. Human Resources experience in a manufacturing facility/environment preferred
5. Working knowledge of a variety of federal and state employment laws such as: EEOC, FLSA, ADA, ADEA, AAP, ACA, FMLA and all other applicable.
6. Experience with COBRA paperwork execution
7. Experience with ADP, Lotus Notes and Outlook preferred
8. Strong interpersonal communications skills
9. Ability to research and analyze diverse types of data and information
10. Familiarity using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel preferred
11. Ability to communicate effectively with multiple stake holders through executing both verbal and written
12. Multi-tasking skills are key in this role
