The Customer Service Account Manager is responsible for overseeing customer accounts and maintaining a high level of customer service to ensure customer satisfaction. This role will provide future forecasting and customer reporting for sales meetings, while maintaining accurate data entry of customer information.
All positions are responsible for following applicable company policies and procedures as defined by their manager.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Work with Accounting to set up new customer in ERP system
2. Close out sales orders
3. Create and send customer quotes
4. Ensure customer quotes and information are accurately entered in CRM
5. Oversee customer accounts assigned by head of Account Management, generally medium sized account <$1M in yearly sales.
6. Communicate new R&D development project status to customers.
7. Review POs to ensure PO matches customer quotes and enter POs in ERP system.
8. Support sales and other internal department requests
9. Work with Supply Chain department to understand future forecast on product and understand and communicate becoming second source for other contract manufactures.
10. VMI Management on any ongoing programs
11. Weekly input into forecasting and sales meetings
12. Provide customer resolution on concerns that involve other internal departments.
13. Entering sales order details accurately into E1 and following up with customers on pending sales orders.
14. Obtain customer acknowledgements on sales orders
15. Track sales order changes and communicate changes to customers
16. Assist other team members with questions and training
17. Develop and maintain cross department relationships
18. Collecting and organizing monthly and quarterly reporting on customers
19. Up to 10% travel
20. Other duties may be assigned.
