Manufacturing Technician III

The Manufacturing Technician II supports manufacturing operations through maintaining, problem solving and repairing machines and maintaining spare parts inventories.

1. Troubleshoot manufacturing machines and equipment to determine root causes and perform repairs with limited instruction from others.

2. Document machine repairs as required by the Quality Management System.

3. Perform moderately complex machine set up and programming.

4. Perform preventive maintenance on electronic and mechanical equipment.

5. Perform in-house calibration of equipment.

6. Maintain spare parts inventories, materials, and tools necessary to support manufacturing equipment.

7. Perform moderately complex technical tasks assisting engineers with electronic and mechanical systems.

8. Work consists of tasks that are typically routine.

9. Adhere to Quality Management System requirements.

10. Ensure equipment safety features are operational and equipment is safe to operate.

11. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education:

· Two-year vocational school in Automation and Robotics, Mechatronics, Electronics or similar field of study or equivalent experience.

Experience:

· Minimum 2 years of experience.

Skills:

· Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.

· Basic knowledge of manufacturing systems obtained through work experience or education.

· Communication: Gives and receives technical information requiring some explanation or interpretation.

· Able to work with moderate supervision.

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, employee is regularly required to sit and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. Employee is frequently required to talk or hear. Employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Employee is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and or operations of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication parts at distances close to the eyes.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour
