WHAT WE MANUFACTURE:

JRUSA manufactures fiber out of cellulose, or wood pulp. Our broad customer base uses this cellulose as a filler, or filter to ensure purity and consistency in their products. We also manufacture fiber out of a wide range of textiles like cotton and denim that’s used in everything from rubber automotive parts to anti-friction components and plastics moldings.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

Our maintenance technician positions include tasks such as preventative maintenance and repair of milling equipment, installation of new equipment, building and grounds maintenance, electrical equipment maintenance and maintaining a stocked and organized maintenance facility. The maintenance technician is expected to have the ability to independently diagnose and repair manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Complete Predictive and Preventative Maintenance programs for mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems.
• Complete machine repair tasks as needed on mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical components and systems.
• Complete installation of new equipment.

Duties

• Work independently, or within a group, to complete Maintenance tasks.
• Complete work using fundamental mechanical and electrical principle.
• Work within CMMS software to document work orders and maintain spare parts inventory.
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems independently.
• Communicate to all departments within the organization.
• Work in a safe manner, following all relevant safety policies and procedures.
• Follow all established Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s).
• Potential to attend classes pertaining to the position.
• Other Duties as necessary.

Minimum Job Requirements, Skills and Qualifications

• High School diploma.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Machine Repair Tech., Millwright or Electrical Tech.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Basic knowledge of electrical circuits.
• Journeyman’s card or Associates degree in Maintenance Technology or similar field preferred.
• Strong self-motivation, trouble shooting skills and sense of urgency.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
