Job Details:
Position: Assembler (Solder/Crimpers)
Department: Manufacturing Specialist
Schedule: Monday - Thursday 6:00 am - 4:30 pm.
Pay starts at $14.00/hr with no experience
14.50hr for work experience in soldering and crimping.
OTJ Training is Provided!!!
Position Type/Schedule: Full-Time 6:00 am -4:30 pm Monday - Thursday.
Educational Requirements: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Position Summary:
Performs various assembly operations to manufacture high-quality cable/harness and electromechanical assemblies.
Follows written instructions for soldering, crimping, lacing, wiring, and potting tasks.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Ability to read, understand, and demonstrate skills outlined in Tri-Tech Electronics standard operating procedures and work instructions.
Fabricate cable assemblies consistently using soldering, crimping, and other techniques.
Performs processes to complete electrical assemblies and sub-assemblies using hand tools.
Performs crimping, tinning, and soldering using accepted techniques.
Solders' shields and sleeves on multiple conductor wires and cables.
Assembling tubing to wire and cable.; Attach pins/contacts to a single wire and multiple conductor cables.
Splice wires together using mechanical and solder processes; Insert filler pins in various connector types.
Perform all duties professionally and productively, emphasizing our Quality and Safety policies.
Provides feedback to the group Leader regarding problems and issues.
Qualifications/Requirements:Good reading and communication skills, both oral and written, in English are required.
Hand-intensive repetitive work.
Good time management, self-motivation, and capability of multitasking.
Adaptive to a high-volume production environment and integrate as an active team member with a positive can-do attitude.
Basic math skills include addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Sitting and standing for long periods are required.
Ability to work well in teams.
Physical Requirements:
Must be physically able to operate various production equipment and assembly tools.
Required to talk, hear, see, and sit (extended periods), stand, walk, bend and reach (both above and below the shoulder) and move, carry, and lift objects as needed.
Must read, communicate, and comprehend effectively with others.
The candidate must be able to lift 15 pounds, have physical stamina and strength, and possibly be exposed to fumes and unpleasant and offensive odors.
