Tri Tech Electronics is Hiring a Manufacturing Specialist Near Orlando, FL

This is a full-time on-site role located in Orlando, FL.
Position: Manufacturing Specialist
Department: Quality
Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 6:00 am - 4:30 pm
Salary: $16.50 - $18.50 per hour
Summary: The Manufacturing Specialist will assemble an entire product or component within the required quality specifications. The specialist is responsible for building parts or pieces adhering to a specified set of blueprints or schematics. The specialist will set up, test, and adjust manufacturing machinery or equipment using electrical, electronic, mechanical, or computer technologies. The specialist will also operate and maintain manufacturing equipment, ensuring production efficiency and maintaining quality standards. The specialist will train and support other team members as a subject expert.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Review customer drawings, specifications, and parts lists.
  • Follow technical instructions and interpret engineering blueprints and technical terms.
  • Discern the quality of parts and materials used in production.
  • Inventory parts and tools used in the assembling process.
  • Follow company procedures and directives.
  • Test finished products for defects.
  • Maintain the tools used to create products.
  • Assembled cable assemblies using soldering irons, crimpers, and various hand tools.
  • Perform routine assembly operations and set up multiple functions within a product family at different stages of completion.
  • Follow written processes and possible rework instructions to complete the product through several manufacturing stages.
  • Assemble the first unit from blueprints and schematics (wire list).
  • Work with minimal assistance from Engineering. Assist with training for special assignments.
  • Keep a clean and well-maintained workspace.
  • Other duties as may be assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Mechanical and technical skills.
  • Physical stamina and strength.
  • Dexterity and hand-eye coordination, including the ability to grasp, manipulate, and assemble small parts and components.
  • Color vision is required for electrical and electronic products that include color-coded wiring.
  • Mold/Tool design capabilities.
  • Knowledge of encapsulation compounds and coatings.
  • Working knowledge of computers and office software.
  • Proficient people skills.
  • Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to comply with company policies and procedures.
Required Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification (Preferred)
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in a manufacturing setting.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, such as blueprints or schematics.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work well with others.
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:
  • Must be physically able to operate various production equipment and assembly tools.
  • Required to talk, hear, see, and sit (extended periods), stand, walk, bend, and reach (both above and below the shoulder) and move, carry, and lift objects as needed.
  • Must read, communicate, and comprehend effectively with others.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds.
  • Occasionally exposed to fumes and unpleasant and offensive odors.
