The primary role of the Training Officer is to contribute to the development and implementation of the veterinary technician and customer service training program. The TO will guide team members through initial and advanced training by fulfilling the following responsibilities:
1. Assist in the training of technicians to advance their skill levels.
2. Aid in the training of Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) for their professional development and the enhancement of customer service.
3. Ensure correct utilization and measurement of training tools.
4. Measure training procedure compliance and provide regular learning opportunities for all support staff.
5. Evaluate and approve team members authorized to work with trainees.
6. Verify that safety measures are always followed.

Additional Duties of the TO:
Ensure that, weekly, FCNMHP Level 1 technicians have their progress signed off in the training manual and report their progress to the VC Supervisor.
Design and apply assessment tools that measure the effectiveness of the training, providing practical feedback to management.
