It’s with that in mind that Hireology is looking to add a Content Marketing Manager to our team.

As the Manager, Content Marketing at Hireology, you'll hold a pivotal role in architecting and driving our marketing strategy. Your primary focus will be on defining our brand voice and crafting compelling content that not only showcases Hireology's features but also articulates the value they offer to our prospects and customers. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you'll spearhead initiatives to elevate brand awareness, attain industry recognition, and unlock new sales opportunities. Additionally, you'll directly oversee a content writer, ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality content aligned with our brand standards and objectives.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in crafting persuasive B2B marketing content across various channels while maintaining a consistent brand voice. Previous experience in the B2B SaaS industry, particularly in crafting content related to hiring, human capital, or technology solutions, is highly advantageous.

As our Manager, Content Marketing, your responsibilities will include:

  • Content Vision and Direction: Define and execute a cohesive content vision that aligns with Hireology's overall objectives and resonates with target audiences, overseeing the ideation, creation, and distribution of high-impact content assets across various channels.
  • Thought Leadership Development: Position Hireology as a thought leader in the industry by driving the creation of insightful, thought-provoking content that addresses key industry challenges, trends, and opportunities, establishing Hireology as a trusted resource and authority in the field.
  • Team Leadership: Provide strategic direction, mentorship, and constructive feedback to our content writer, supporting their growth and aligning their output with our brand identity and strategic objectives.
  • Content Planning and Execution: Lead the strategic planning and execution of all content initiatives, driving the development of a diverse range of content including press releases and PR pitches, presentations, resource guides, data studies, ads, thought leadership pieces, and other content to drive brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation.
  • Audience-Centric Content Development: Drive the creation of audience-centric content that addresses the needs, pain points, and interests of target audience segments, leveraging insights from market research and audience analytics to inform content ideation, messaging, and delivery.
  • Brand Messaging Oversight: Ensure consistency and alignment of brand voice and editorial guidelines across all content assets, serving as the steward of the brand identity and values to reinforce Hireology's position as a trusted authority in the industry.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders including product marketing, sales, and customer success teams to align content strategies with product messaging, customer needs, and sales objectives, fostering a cohesive and integrated approach to content marketing.
  • Performance Analysis and Optimization: Utilize data-driven insights and performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of content initiatives, identifying opportunities for optimization and refinement to drive greater engagement, conversion, and retention.

Okay, we’ve laid out what the job is - now are you qualified? Below are the minimum qualifications we’re looking for in a Manager, Content Marketing candidate.

  • To be considered, include a writing sample or portfolio link with your resume
  • Bachelor’s Degree in English, Journalism, Communications or Marketing and minimum of 5 years work experience
  • Strong writing skills across channels (blog, email, social, web)
  • Pristine grammar, proofreading and editing skills
  • Experience writing for web and landing pages and familiarity with web design tools
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices and tools
  • Familiarity using Wordpress or a similar content CMS
  • Deadline-oriented, strong time-management and prioritization skills to juggle multiple writing projects for a diverse set of audiences
  • Ability to research and write intelligently on topics in the HR/hiring space
  • Ability to communicate clearly, strongly and regularly in formal and informal client settings, as well as with internal teams
