Box Truck Driver Full Time Hourly – Estimated pay range $19-$23 depending on qualifications and experienceMust be at least 21 years and older Position Description:Box Truck Drivers transport goods, materials, supplies and equipment using a tractor trailer truck from one location to another. Drivers follow all applicable traffic laws to ensure their safety and the safety of others. Helping load and unload truck(s), working along side Warehouse Receivers during downtime. Note- truck will be stationed at our Paramus, NJ location daily Your day-to-day: Transport goods, material, supplies and equipment while safely operating a tractor trailer truckDrive long distances, spanning several states and over intercity routesMaintain awareness of all applicable traffic laws and comply at all timesChoose optimal routes, and make adjustments when necessaryManeuver trucks into loading and unloading positionsConnect cables or electrical linesInspect trailer before and after a trip and record any defectsMaintain driver log according to I.C.C. regulationsFollow accident procedure if accident occursInspect cargo to ensure it is properly loaded and secureRecord amount and type of cargo being deliveredRead bills of lading to determine assignment detailsWorking in Warehouse alongside receivers during downtimePerform other duties, as assigned Qualifications: 21 years of age or olderExperience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, CB, etc)Clean driving record with no moving violationsDriving experience preferredDedication to safety and accident preventionGood communication skills, both written and oral What you bring to the team: Great work ethicProblem solverSelf-motivatorFlexibleHonest Working Conditions: The position requires many hours of travel across three states in various weather conditions Satisfy:Greet customers with a friendly smile and positive attitude, ensuring that each customer feels welcome and appreciated.Teamwork:Collaborate with team members to ensure the smooth operation of the store, offering assistance and support where needed.Excellence:Improve and maintain the efficiency of the store in order to reach success.
