Supervisor, Front End Part Time Hourly – $16.50 - $17.50 per hourdepending on qualifications and experienceMust be at least 18 years and older Position Description: With general supervision, the Front End Supervisor directly supervises cashiers and their day to day activities. Your day-to-day: Front End supervisors are a cashier’s main point of contact within the department.Responsible to ensure cashiers arrive on time, receive rest and meal breaks when they are due, and are relieved at the end of their shiftResponsible for a register override card and provide them to cashiers when, and if, they are needed.Provide technical assistance when there is a problem with the registerProvide feedback to department manager/assistant manager for cashier 90 day Chats and yearly Performance appraisalsDeliver verbal and first written warnings, with managers approvalFront End supervisors are responsible for one or more of the following departmental tasks:WOW gameAttendance monitoringOverchargesLeft behindsScanning speedCashier trainingProduce testing (rotated among supervisors)Open keysCash controlFacilitating cashier communication meetingUpdate cashiers cornerFront End Supervisors provide assistance, when needed, in all areas of the department.Ringing a cash registerCustomer serviceCatering ordersOther duties, as assigned Qualifications: 1 to 3 years cashier experience, with excellent cash controlGreat communication skills, both written and oralGreat customer service skillsGood computer skills, with basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and HRIS systemThe ability to delegate task and give clear directionsThe ability to multi-task What you bring to the team: Lead by exampleGreat work ethicGood interpersonal skillsProblem solverHonestFlexibleFirm, but fair Working Conditions: Requires frequent walking and standing with occasional lifting up to 30 poundsRequires occasional repetitive motion of arms and hands Satisfy:Greet customers with a friendly smile and positive attitude, ensuring that each customer feels welcome and appreciated.Teamwork:Collaborate with team members to ensure the smooth operation of the store, offering assistance and support where needed.Excellence:Improve and maintain the efficiency of the store in order to reach success.Wow:Be a positive ambassador for the store, representing our S.T.E.W. values in all interactions with customers and team members.
