Brief Description
The purpose of this position is to provide supervision and management support functions to the supervisors and customer cities of the water and wastewater treatment facilities including: water treatment plants, water pump stations, wastewater treatment plants, and pipelines for the Brazos River Authority (BRA). This is accomplished by mentoring, supporting and managing personnel and monitoring performance; performing plant inspections for safety and appropriate plant operations; ensuring regulatory compliance; maintaining a safety-oriented work environment; facilitating employee training; and completing administrative duties. Responsibilities include developing annual budgets for approval; monitoring budgets throughout the year; reviewing lab reports and monthly operation reports; reporting non-compliance for all collection and treatment facilities to TCEQ; preparing TCEQ annual sludge reports; meeting with customers; responding to emergencies; communicating with internal and external customers; preparing internal reports; managing capital projects; reviewing and amending risk management plans; ensuring safety inspection compliance; and performing on-call rotations with other superintendents. Other responsibilities include developing costs for proposals; ensuring regulatory compliance; coordinating purchases; working with other departments, superintendents, and managers to accomplish the overall objectives of the BRA; and performing any other duties as assigned.

Key Competencies
STARTING SALARY RANGE: $85,358 to $110,966 annual salary. This is an exempt position.
