Rigid Constructors is Hiring an Office Administrator - Equipment Team Near Lafayette, LA

RIGID Constructors is a Louisiana-based privately held construction company that started with the idea that innovation and technology are key components in providing first class construction services and developing strong client relationships. We are committed to providing safe and quality service to our client base located throughout the Gulf Coast Region of the United States.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Performing administrative functions: Data entry, bookkeeping, and basic tasks
  • Collecting information from Employees, customers, and clients
  • Cataloguing and organizing data
  • Transferring physical records into a digital filing system
  • Retrieving data as requested
  • Maintaining and updating the database system as necessary
  • Generating periodic reports
  • Scheduling meetings: Planning and booking events and venues for company activities
  • Interacting with customers: Greeting visitors, offering information, and solving problems
  • Tracking inventory: Monitoring office supply stocks and informing management of shortage
  • Complete other tasked requested by Equipment Manager and Equipment VP
  • Manage front desk operations and greet visitors when needed

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Office Administrator or similar role
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks or other accounting software
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Knowledge of phone systems and general office equipment
  • Work well in a fast paced, quickly adjusting priorities when necessary
