Full job description

• Highly skilled heavy equipment operators with specific experience operating excavators, and dozers.
• Competitive wages. Criminal background check, substance testing, and we will need your driver’s license as well. Only local applicants will be considered. Pay scale based on position and experience.
• Prior experience running long reach excavators on steel mats, in soft and muddy conditions.
• Experience with running bulldozers.
• Gps dozer experience Preferred.
• Experience running bull dozers preferred.
• Loading off road trucks with excavator.

Job Duties:

• Operate heavy equipment to move, load, and grade earth.
• Operate heavy equipment to assist in the jobsite with whatever is needed.
• Excavate dirt and other materials from open-pit mines, strip mines, quarries, or muddy construction pits.
• Read and interpret blueprints or designs to understand the requirements of the job.
• Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment and clean, lubricate and refuel equipment.
• Grease your own equipment as well as fueling up with diesel and def before the end of your shift.
• Operate heavy equipment on soft grounds and or muddy conditions.

Job Skills and Qualifications:

• Must be able to run a long reach Excavator on top of steel mats to relay dirt to the excavator that will be loading trucks.
• Must have prior experience working heavy equipment on soft, muddy conditions.
• Must have experience with excavators & dozers in soft grounds.
• Must have your own transportation to work.
• Long hours during the week as well as working weekends.
• Must be able to load trucks with excavator.
• Must be able to run dozer with or without GPS
• Technical knowledge of how to properly use equipment needed for the job.
• Expert knowledge of the types of materials being moved, dug, loaded, or unloaded.
• Excellent communication skills with close attention to detail.
• Knowledge of how to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, designs
• Understanding of how to conduct pre-operational checks on equipment and how to maintain it.
• Understanding of all safety requirements for the job site.
• Have years of experience running heavy equipment
• Must be able to grease your equipment everyday as well as fuel yourself with diesel and def.

Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
