We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise within a warehouse environment.
Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a forklift to transport materials around the warehouse
- Load and unload products from trailers or containers
- Perform daily equipment checks and basic maintenance
- Utilize warehouse management system to track inventory movements
- Pick orders accurately according to order sheets
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment
- Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations
Experience:
- Previous experience as a forklift operator in a distribution center or warehouse setting
- Proficient in operating a forklift and pallet jack
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks
- Familiarity with order picking processes
- Basic math skills for inventory counting
- Knowledge of equipment repair and maintenance is a plus
