```Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Slitter Operator to join our team. As a Slitter Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining slitting machines to cut metal sheets into specific sizes and shapes. This is a crucial role in our manufacturing process, ensuring the production of high-quality metal products.

Duties:
- Set up and operate slitting machines to cut metal sheets according to specifications
- Adjust machine settings such as speed, tension, and blade position for optimal cutting
- Monitor machine operation to ensure proper cutting and prevent any issues or defects
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to keep them in good working condition
- Troubleshoot and resolve any operational problems that may arise during production
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

Skills:
- Proficient in using micrometers and other measuring tools to ensure precise cuts
- Knowledge of sheet metal properties and characteristics
- Familiarity with plasma cutting, milling machines, blueprint reading, and hand tools
- Experience with stamping presses, quality inspection, lathe, and electrical discharge machining is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machine issues
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
