BOLD Charter School is Hiring a School Psychologist Near Bronx, NY

POSITION SUMMARY

As a School Psychologist at Bold you will join our growing Strive team, ensuring that all students, including students with specific learning, social, and emotional needs, experience a joyful, engaging, and rigorous learning environment every day. You will model and inspire a love of learning that will equip each student to succeed in school and thrive in life. You will be part of a results-oriented and collaborative team of professionals who are relentless in their pursuit of educational excellence. You will receive regular coaching and feedback, and will have opportunities to grow into a transformative leader within the organization.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Building strong relationships with students and their families to support academic, social, and emotional success
  • Conducting psycho-educational evaluations, including cognitive, academic achievement testing, and any additional evaluations needed for a thorough and accurate representation of students
  • Providing counseling services in accordance with Individualized Education Programs
  • Creating, implementing, and monitoring behavior intervention plans and additional behavioral supports as needed
  • Supporting with crisis management, as needed
  • Actively participating in the school-based support team to ensure student progress through the appropriate supports and interventions

  • Hold a commitment to solutions-based problem solving and previous experience of such
  • Have background in crisis management and counseling
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree with an outstanding record of achievement
  • Hold a valid NYS School Psychologist certification

Start Date

The start date for this position is flexible.

Compensation

Bold Charter School offers highly competitive compensation, in the top range of comparable positions across New York City charter schools. The salary range for this position is $90,000 - $120,000 annually and includes a comprehensive benefits package.
