Position Summary
Bold Charter School is growing and we are searching for aspiring school leaders to join our team, and grow with us, as we build toward middle school.
As a Principal-in-Residence, you will train alongside current leadership, developing the skills to become a highly effective principal at Bold. You will develop a deep understanding of Bold's model and leverage your instructional background to coach and develop teachers in a student-centered, outcomes-oriented environment. As you grow in the role, you will further develop your leadership skills through in-depth coaching and applied practice in the areas of curriculum and instruction, talent development, and site management. Principals-in-Residence play a key role on the school leadership team, and work with Bold's teachers, students, staff, and families on a daily basis to achieve outcomes and prepare to lead a future Bold site.
To help us achieve our vision, we are searching for candidates who have a Bachelor's degree, 3 years of instructional experience, and demonstrated leadership in a high-performing K-12 setting. A relevant graduate degree is preferred. Ideal candidates will have a commitment to improving educational outcomes in traditionally underserved communities, a growth-oriented mindset, and the foundational belief that every child deserves a world-class education.
As a Principal-in-Residence at Bold Charter School, you will be part of a results-oriented and collaborative team of professionals who are relentless in their pursuit of educational excellence. You will receive regular coaching and feedback, and will have opportunities to grow into a transformative leader within the organization.

Compensation
Bold Charter School offers highly competitive compensation, in the top range of comparable positions across New York City charter schools. The salary range for this position is $110,000 - $130,000 annually and includes a comprehensive benefits package.
