HRC Fertility Management is Hiring a Vice President of People & Culture Near Pasadena, CA

HRC Fertility is looking for a dynamic and experienced executive leader to lead its people, places and culture!

Salary $150-175K a year depending on experience.

Added eligibility for up to 20% annual bonus based on performance.

Vice President of People & Culture (VPPC)

The Vice President of People & Culture (VPPC) develops and executes on human resources/people, culture, infrastructure, and HR compliance strategies that support the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization(s), specifically in the areas of talent management, organizational design, labor and employment compliance, change management, performance management, training and development, culture, JEDI (Justice, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion), ethics/standards of conduct, physical work environment risk management, and staff benefits and compensation. The VPHR provides strategic leadership by articulating HR strategy, needs and plans/strategic goals to the executive management team; and serves as a thought-partner to senior management and executive management in addition to oversight and management of the HR team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and implement HR efforts that effectively communicate and support the company's mission, culture, commitment to ethics and just workplace, and strategic vision.
  • Develop HR plans, programs, and strategies to support the achievement of the overall

business operations objectives.

  • Function as a strategic business advisor to the executive of each business unit regarding

key organizational and human resources management issues.

  • Develop comprehensive strategic recruiting and staffing plans to meet the human capital

growth and strategic goals.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive compensation/incentive and benefits plans that are

competitive and cost-effective.

  • Provide overall leadership and guidance to the HR function by overseeing talent acquisition,

career development, succession planning, retention, organizational training, leadership

  • development, compensation and payroll.
  • Manage human resources/labor and employment compliance and best practices

frameworks, processes, and desired outcomes.

  • Serve as the chief champion of culture and people.
  • Expertise in staff recruitment and retention.
  • Expertise in Staff/Culture Event Planning.
  • Expertise in budgeting and expense control.
  • Expertise in workplace and workplace premises safety/security management.
  • Expertise devising, implementing, and managing ongoing growth and development of JEDI

programs (Just, Equitable, Diverse, and Inclusive workplace)

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Experience in strategic and leadership human resources management leading organizations of at least 200 FTEs; preferred added experience in healthcare environments or hospitality.
  • Experience within multi-site and expansive organizations.
  • High EQ and desire for visibility.
  • Unsatisfied with the status quo.
  • Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of HR Compliance, and staff Compensation and Incentive Plan design
  • frameworks and implementation.
  • Excellent organizational skills and robust attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Knowledge of and experience with varied HRIS systems; ADP a plus.
  • Proficient with Employee Benefits design and strategic planning.
  • Proficient in recruitment and retention programs including at executive and/or clinical provider levels.
  • Proficient with administration of employee plans and benefits including 401k, cafeteria plans and ERISA plans.
  • Proficient with organizational-level people and culture program development, program evolution and engagement
  • Proficient with labor and employment, employee benefits, employee plans, OSHA, human resources compliance and related compliance frameworks
  • Proficient with enterprise-wide organizational/workforce training program design, implementation and maintenance.

Education and Experience:

  • A BS/BA degree from an accredited college/university, preferably in human resources management, hospitality management, organizational psychology, psychology, social science, sociology, communications or related; master’s degree in organizational psychology, business, administration, human resources, or related field a plus.
  • Applicable additional Human Resources certifications (e.g., SHRM, JEDI, DE&I) preferred.
  • A minimum of 10 years of HR experience, with at least five years of executive HR experience.
  • Added Experience in Event planning/Event Management
  • Added Experience in workplace Facilities and Infrastructure Safety and Security Management
