Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supply Chain Manager to join our team. As a Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of our supply chain operations for our Fire and Emergency Division. This includes managing logistics, inventory control, and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and be able to effectively lead a team.
Responsibilities:
Oversight of the Parts Inventory flow in the CDK Global system from quotation, ordering, and shipment.
Manages stock levels, lead times for products, and freight cost optimization.
Coordinates and controls the order cycle (Stock, Customer, Emergency, Warranty).
Oversees cycle counting processes in order to obtain the perpetual inventory goal (six counts annually).
Provides operational support and guidance to ensure maximum productivity.
Negotiates with Vendors and Suppliers on pricing, discounts, annual goals/commitments, freight prepaid terms, and payment terms.
Develops business by gaining new contracts, analyzing logistical problems, and producing new solutions.
Conducts research, analyzes results as needed, and builds product cross-references.
Provide timely and accurate reports to the Supply Chain Director and VP of Commercial Parts.
Ensures compliance with all applicable federal and state laws and all company policies

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field preferred
- Proven experience in supply chain management or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of inventory control principles and practices
- CDK Global experience preferred
- Familiarity with MRP systems for production planning
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma
- Proficiency in using Power BI or similar tools for data analysis
- Strong leadership abilities with the ability to effectively manage a team
