Luxor Staffing is hiring a Maintenance Technician paying up to $25 per hour with 1st shift available. Weekly pay, possible overtime, incentive and bonus programs, optional direct deposit, benefits from day 1 on the job and much more!

Job responsibilities:

• Inspects and identifies equipment or machines in need of repair. Inspect and diagnose problems and figure out the best way to correct them.
• Troubleshoots issues to determine necessary repairs.
• Plans repair work using buildings blueprints or equipment manual as needed.
• Fix and Maintain mechanical equipment, repair machines, and buildings.
• Fix or replace faulty electrical switches, outlets, and circuit breakers.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly.
• Performs general repairs that do not require a specialized technician. Examples may include repairing drywall, painting, and repairing doors and other building fixtures.
• Performs routine maintenance on building systems.
• Cleans and assists with upkeep of the facilities.
• Orders supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance.

Qualifications:

• 3 years of related experience preferred.
• Must have the ability to work with others while effectively handling internal pressures.
• Demonstrates ability to communicate well with management, shop personnel and to follow instructions from supervisors or senior maintenance workers.
• Ability Knowledge of general carpentry and repair.
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Organizational and solving problem skills
• Ability to work in and on shop floor
• Bilingual Preferred not required
