Steeler is a family owned business with an entrepreneurial environment where you can build your career in a place that will help you meet your professional goals. We have been in business for 50 years and are proud of the products we provide. We are a versatile manufacturer of steel framing and a distributor of drywall supplies and construction materials. Come join us as we continue to grow and maintain our reputation as one of the top steel stud manufacturers in the western United States.
Our growing team is in need of an additional Forklift operator for our busy Seattle plant. Our forklift position is a forklift operating position that moves all finished goods off of the production line and into our finished goods stock yard. Most of the job consists of lifting and moving steel studs with a forklift. This is a very physically demanding job performed in an open building and outside area. The forklift driver will help in verifying part qualities, assist in banding the steel when necessary, and follow all OSHA and Steeler safety guidelines. The ideal candidate will possess an extreme level of work-ethic and be willing to go above and beyond. While this is a regular full-time position, overtime can and may be required during our ‘Peak’ Seasons. The ability to operate a forklift is a required portion of the job duties.
