Qualifications

Responsibilities: As a Dental Hygienist at FPCC, you will:

• Assist the dentist during procedures and provide specialized care for implant maintenance.
• Engage with patients to present and discuss treatment plans.
• Ensure patient comfort prior to examinations.
• Sterilize dental instruments according to established safety protocols.
• Perform initial oral screenings and review health histories.
• Diagnose oral ailments such as gingivitis, caries, or periodontitis.
• Conduct dental cleanings and apply protective treatments like fluoride.
• Educate patients of all ages on proper oral hygiene practices.
• Provide post-procedure care instructions.
• Help in selecting appropriate treatments for various dental conditions, including oral cancer.
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage dental supplies.

Qualifications:

• Active Dental Hygiene Certification required.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive demeanor.
• Experience in a high-volume dental office preferred.
