Description
Recovery Resources (a nonprofit comprehensive mental health/behavioral health clinic) is seeking a Vocational Rehabilitation Coordinator. In this position you will assist people with severe mental illness and addiction in accessing vocational and support services through our contract with Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities (OOD). In this role, you will coordinate, schedule and conduct intake interviews for those applying for services; work with participants to develop an individualized plan for employment and coordinate any needed assessments and services towards the outcome of competitive community employment.
Essential functions of this position include evaluating clients to determine types of services necessary to assist clients in reaching vocational goals; develop effective rapport and provide vocational rehabilitation services to a diverse population, providing education, support and motivation from intake through discharge.
Qualifications
Minimum qualification for the position include:

• Bachelor's degree in rehabilitation counseling or related field.
• Minimum two years of experience in vocational rehabilitation or behavioral health, serving adults with disabilities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to navigate and mediate challenging situations
