About the Role & Team

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Marketing Compliance, you will manage the marketing and advertising technology governance and platform management for Customer Engagement. This will be achieved through understanding our requirements, legal, compliance and product analysis to ensure our data and platforms are protected against the misuse of Guest and Company data in Marketing-related activities following the Data Privacy and Security Policies of The Walt Disney Company.

What You Will Do
  • Manage platform and product governance for licensed platforms to ensure access, advertising products, data compliance and overall use are following agreed upon contractual terms.
  • Responsible for platforms observing all Disney data security and privacy policies.
  • Manage external vendor relationships for licensed digital marketing platforms, search, social, for governance support.
  • Manage the Disney Experiences Search Marketing trademark Program, platform and database tools across the entire company.
  • Partner with legal to register and monitor search trademarks and ensure the program is following the Disney marketing guidelines.
  • Partner with the Sales Team to ensure the marketing guidelines and rules behind trademark bidding are enforced.
  • Manage Disney Experiences User Management policies and procedures.
  • Partner with the Disney Experiences Paid Search team to ensure campaign strategies align with the trademark protection program.
  • Lead partnership with our Google reps to understand and identify potential concerns with platform changes or enhancements.
  • Assist in the creation and enforcement of the Disney Digital Marketing Guidelines provided to authorized partners.
  • Reviews trademark project performance dashboards and PPC monitoring tool reports to analyze and identify infringing domains.
Required Qualifications & Skills
  • 6 years of experience in Digital, Email, CRM marketing.
  • Expertise in understanding marketing platform technologies and integrations between CRM, Direct, Social Media, Search, Search Marketing, Programmatic and Mobile Marketing.
  • Expertise in Google Ads, Bing Ads, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics and The Search Monitor (or other PPC monitoring tool).
  • Project management skills and ability to communicate with all levels of management.
  • Experience leading inter-departmental projects applying relationships with IT, Marketing, Platform Operations, Finance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Subject matter expertise in advertising / marketing technology environments
  • Subject matter expertise in trademark management
  • Experience submitting trademark takedown requests/authorizations through Google, Bing, Yahoo
  • Experience using the US Patent and Trademark Office programs such as TESS
Education
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Information Technology, Social Media, Digital Strategy, Business Administration, Analytics, or Statistics degree/background is a plus.
