Purpose of the position

• The Logistics Manager is responsible for providing oversight of the logistics processes and the logistics team supporting both internal and external partners. The Logistics Manager will serve as the subject matter expert for logistics functions and is the key representative of the logistics group within the supply chain organization.

Primary duties / responsibilities

• Manages and trains Logistics Coordinators and Logistics Analysts and ensures they have the tools to succeed.

• Manages vendor relationships, develops, monitors, and reports on KPIs, sets expectations with 3PL and service partners.

• Manages complex projects and assignments and delegates tasks to Logistics Coordinators and Analysts.

• Leads vendor meetings, trainings to our service partners on Logistics expectations and procedures.

• Cross-functional collaboration with all SMA teams and execution of agreed upon procedures and implementation to respective companies.

• Responsible for annual inventory counts for Field Technicians, Service Partners, and Returns storage locations.

• Communicates via phone and email with internal and external customers on product, spare parts needs, deliveries, and return of material.

• Coordinates and oversees the entry of data in SAP based on Field Service reports in Salesforce, emails/forms that are turned in, and analyze and investigate to resolve any report discrepancies.

• Tracks repair and return of parts to and from Germany.

• Creates and maintains a library of procedures, technical manuals, software releases, and documentation.

• Prepares data for weekly and monthly reports, including KPIs, RMA returns, and inventory consumption.

• Prepares and delivers periodic performance evaluation for direct reports.

• Other duties as may be required or assigned.

Required training (type / duration / field / additional training)

• A bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

Required relevant professional experience (type / duration)

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a logistics role is required.
• Management and leadership experience is required.

Other specialized skills

• Knowledge of Supply Chain (procurement, warehousing, and transportation) is required.
• Proficiency in the English language, both written and verbal, is required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) is required.
• Attention to detail, high level of accuracy, and excellent organizational skills are required.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills are required.
• Ability to analyze and solve problems effectively.

The salary range for this position is $66,000 - $84,500 annually.
