Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and National Athletic Trainers Association certification.
- Assists with team training and conditioning activities.
- Operates a variety of athletic training room equipment; maintains a daily record of treatment.
- Assists with the development of sports medicine program to include, injury prevention programs, injury evaluations, injury management, injury treatment and rehabilitation, educational programs and counseling for student athletes.
- Provides athletic training services for intercollegiate athletics.
- Attends scheduled team practices and home events.
- Assists with the coordination and scheduling of pre-participation physical examinations and medical referrals for student-athletes to determine their ability to practice and compete.
- Responsible for training and supervision of student workers to include assigning duties and checking work.
- Administers a variety of advanced athletic training rehabilitation.
- Maintains daily records and documentation of injuries and treatment of athletes.
- Regular and prompt attendance.
- Ability to work schedule as defined and additional hours as required.
- Related duties as required.
